I am the new shakespeare
A heavy left hand
you don't really understand
is this person right for me?
is there someone Else that would fit me?
is it the right time?
is this what I want?
is this what I want?
so many questions, so many questions
it comes time like a flash
you're at the alter in a dash
what should I do?
say I do?
I am sweating now
very nervous I look up at the clouds
so nervous, so nervous
all I remember is now I am married
I live with another humanbeing
For what? so we are not lonely?
or that we love each other
in holymatramony
then I think now she is not for me
and now I am another divorcee
I have a heavy left hand
(give me feed back on what you think because i am shakespeare!)

The Quote from "Catcher in the Rye"
1.)"If a body catch a body coming through the rye"- Well when the little kid was singing this song he was on in the road of New York (I guess it is busy street) and his family is not paying any attention to him at all. Also his family was poor.
2.)Well this makes Holden happy in a way. May be from his past or something. Also i think it makes him happy because the kid is just acting like him self not Phony. Also The people walking on the side walk are not paying any attention to the kid at all.
3.)This is the over all meaning to the book. He relates to the kid in the middle of the street as not being phony, just being himself.
-This is the hole meaning of the book!
I am so moved!!!!!

-Holden is like a child because he does not want to grow up and take some of the responsibility that older people have to do. Also he acted like a child when he got hit by Stradlator. But also he is like an adult by going out and doing things by himself, for example going to new york by him self.
-Some struggles that people have growing from childhood to adult hood is responsibility's. I can relate to this with one of my co-workers that still works at restaurants. Also just the supporting yourself is kinda scary because if you screw up then who is going to help you out?
-Holden fits on this path by right in the middle he is an adult, but he does not have responsibility's. (Like a job and things to support himself)

Extra Credit ) Chapter 5
In this chapter I learned that his other brother Allie died from leukemia in Maine. I think this is why Holden is kinda different then everyone else. He views everyone in a negative way, he does not want to get attached to some one because he love his brother and does not want to loose another good friend.

Seconed blog about that Rye Boooook
Holden Caulfeild I think is very annoying because he is always talking about how people are annoying, and he lies alot to people he should open up to. I think he is just going to be the same way through out the book. In a Historical lens I can see this book would be totally different if written in a different time period. For example if it was written today the hole plot would be different, and the Authors writting would be totaly different I think.
I think J.D. Salinger is trying to make the statment that kids in that time period were trying to break away from the "Amarican Dream" and this was like the begining of that revolution that happened in the 60's. This all goes back to a historical lens because if J.D. Salinger wrote it today it would not have that big of a meaning.
