Extra Credit ) Chapter 5
In this chapter I learned that his other brother Allie died from leukemia in Maine. I think this is why Holden is kinda different then everyone else. He views everyone in a negative way, he does not want to get attached to some one because he love his brother and does not want to loose another good friend.

Spencer I agree with you... I think the reason he doesnt like to get to know people very well and get close with them is because of what happened with his brother and he doesnt want to have to go through that again if a new friend ended up dieing or leaving so i think thats why he acts in such a strange way!
